He said in 2003 Danny said this is our plan and we are going to go afterk KG in 2007.  I'm not sure I believe that though

Just that no one is untouchable with who is on "their" board. Spent 90 mins with DA and Coachs about the board and emails and calls.

He can't say much, but they asked him if any one was untouchable, and he said not for some of the players that are up there, with a look of holding excitement. Again, nothing may happen, but that look means some one may have popped up that they are willing to throw in 7 players like the KG deal. And he said that they have the pieces to do that again.

Thats about it. Nothing much but still interesting.

Nothing we haven't heard from him before. Believes the draft picks are as valuable as they've ever been, is excited where they are at and what they have the opportunity to do at the trade deadline, and that he thinks they will do SOMETHING to at least consolidate the roster to help get better. Spoke glowingly about Olynyk, Crowder, Smart, Thomas - said Mickey's minutes are Olynyk's minutes and we probably won't see him this year (dissapointing.)

so you're telling me there's a chance?  :P ;D

When is the last time Wyc has been right about things he says publicly? Based on recent history I'd say Mickey will be playing big minutes after the ASB...

Someone named "Billy from NJ" called asking whether the Celtics were hiring.

Apparently there was some personal history there and this Billy had done Wyc a solid a while back.

Wyc offered him a job selling hot dogs.

That's a bit misguided, I don't see how Mickey's minutes are Olynyk's.

Mickey's minutes should be Zeller's minutes and/or Jerebko's minutes.

Beyond that it's fighting for minutes with our main rotation of Sully, Amir, Olynyk, and he can take minutes from any of these guys depending on the situation.

So I don't buy for one second that the reason Mickey can't see the floor is because of Olynyk. If that's how Wyc, and maybe by extension Danny, Stevens and the coaching staff are analyzing this particular situation, then I'm very disappointed.

I very much doubt that's the reality of it.

If Mickey's 3-pointer keeps coming along, I'll see him more as getting Jerebko's minutes. I really like Jerebko, but I think they also wouldn't mind using his favorable contract to help bring back a star, if they get the opportunity. That's why Danny joked about whether JJ would be here next year when introducing him after his new contract.

Either way, IMO KO is headed to start, probably after the trade deadline, but definitely by next year. And it would be nice to see whoever is still on the team from this year's rooks and JY move up to the rotation next year as well, though they'll be doing well if they get two of them to that point.

Part of how Ainge signed a few guys in the last offseason seemed designed so that we could lose them and I think if no big trade comes Ainge will do that.  Jerebko and Amir would probably be on their way out.  Not that either one is not good but we would have too many young players that need to play.

I would be surprised if there is not one trade Ainge would make, even a small one, though.

update. currently with the battling crustaseans, mickey take 0.9 three pointers per game and is making 33% of them. so far, 3 pointers are not yet part of his arsenal it seems.
