How many wins would Brook Lopez have added to this year's Celtics team.

I tend to think he's one player that would add a lot to this team.

I'm going to say an easy seven wins over 82 games.

We would have won 50 games this year with a healthy Lopez, Crowder, Thomas that actually isn't a bad inside outside offensive.

I don't think he would fit the offense well, but he'd probably be able to add 5-10 wins
I'm bitter.

Well, he's got a Win Shares score of 3.2 based on his production this season thus far.

Would he have done even more in Boston than the numbers he's putting up in Brooklyn? I doubt it.

yeah but win shares are based by how many games a team actually wins.  The more wins your team has the larger your win share is.  Brooklyn has only won 11 games.  If Brooklyn had more wins, Lopez would have more win shares.

I am not getting the obsession by some posters with trying to add Brook Lopez to this team. You would almost have to give up two of the Nets picks for this to work and its all based on some idea that taking Lopez away from the current Nets team will make them worse and hopefully increase out chances of landing a top two pick by a few percentage points.

It completely ignores the fact that Lopez would take up a massive amount of the cap space the Celtics have built. It completely ignores the fact that Lopez is just one player landing on his foot going for a rebound from being gone for maybe two years. It completely ignores the fact that Lopez won't fix this team's need for more rebounding and a closer who can create his own offense. It also completely ignores the fact that Brooklyn may not want to trade him, especially to a team that already fleeced them once before.

Brook Lopez to Boston isn't happening. Danny has his eyes set on bigger fish than Lopez if he is giving up his coveted Nets picks and future cap space and he certainly isn't making the trade just to add a few more ping pong balls to this years lottery.

I say at this point, more harm than good. I mean we're aren't exactly clicking right now since before the Pacers game, we lost 4/5 games. He'll definitely be an upgrade over our current centers, but I don't think Brook Lopez himself is that GREAT of a player that he instantly improves us. I'd pass on him though
