Smart or Bradley

Who would you rather keep if you were making a trade? If you were to ask me last year I would say Smart easily. I'm starting to lose a little hope on Smart lately. Will he be anything more than a defensive player? In 3 years how many ppg do you honestly see him averaging? 13?

Smart has a lot of potential at PG though no room to grow since we play IT so much. He is on a Billups ride right now with C's until he gets full reigns or is traded. AB is maxed out and he is what he is as a SG. Since I see them as different position players I don't see how one effects the other. Can Smart play SG yes but not full time. See Smart would be a smaller SG and he isn't explosive. At SG Smart's offensive would be even worse overall. AB though also undersized at SG at least is very fast and nimble allowing him to score and defend. Smart would really have to improve his speed and change his style to play SG. If Smart is left at PG he has size to effect other PGs despite the speed minus. Smart can muscle himself open and get shots off easily against PGs yet that won't work against SGs. Till Smart is getting 30 mins at the PG spot we won't have a real idea of the player he can be. So I don't trade either based on the other it's all about the deal and what the other team wants in return for their player/s.

Good points. I am hopeful he will progress into a more skilled offensive player. At times I just can't see it with his shot.

I would choose Smart, he's got a long way to go but he's got more upside than Bradley. However, I would rather keep both, I don't think it's an either or with them.

Smart can already do things Avery can't. It took Avery a little while to develop. Smart needs more time as well.

I take Smart all day.  Still in the early stage of development with him.

Bradley's a helluva defender, but one dimensional on the offensive side of things.  Solid outside shooter, but that's it.  Can't get to the rim, and doesn't pass that well.  So you are at the mercy of his outside jumper.  If it's going down, great.  If not, it spells trouble.  We can do better at that position.  Someone more well rounded.
