Crowder nominated for EC player of the week

Boston Celtics swingman Jae Crowder was nominated for Eastern Conference Player of the Week, but the award went to Washington's Marcin Gortat. Crowder averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists over 34.4 minutes per game in Boston's 4-0 week. Crowder shot 52.9 percent from the floor and put up a pair of double-doubles. The Celtics owned a ridiculous plus-17.6 net rating during Crowder's floor time during that four-game span.
