injuries-anybody got access to stats

anybody have any stats on serious injurys,
it seems  players from rookies to stars are going down with from broken legs ,dislocated  joints acls,achilles and serious sprains
are the players bigger,stronger and jump higher or is it length of season and playing tough defence most of the season
randle,gordon jabari,smart -rondo,rose,durant ,paul george
-too many games ,too long season,too too long playoffs,too many back to backs

Good question, rollie. Here's a link to a pretty good article if you're interested (kind of long). This seems to have been motivated by the injuries of the 2014 draft class. They interviewed players, sport scientists, and some top trainers for the article.

Seems they blame it more on wear and tear. Modern training gives us incredible athletes but many athletes are pushing themselves beyond their natural ranges for too long and break down. Training moderation may be the biggest thing. Lots of rest is needed.
