You know Brad is really searching when you see crap line ups with Zeller and Jerebko. Nothing against Jerebko, cause I like his effort, but it's not a good sign when we have to roll those two guys out there.
I think there's a difference between "have to" and "want to". Right now everything is falling into the "want to" camp as far as Stevens is concerned. It paid off fairly well in Detroit (Zeller was fairly bad in the 4th after having a really good 3rd quarter) and Jerebko finally shot the ball well... but otherwise, Stevens has been playing players who have been complete duds so far in the season.
Considering how quickly Stevens took Zeller and Lee off the starting unit, and put Zeller out of the rotation, I'm surprised at his insistence of keep playing certain players who aren't producing as the season has unfolded.
Funny thing is, though partially the fault of ineffective units, but Jerebko currently has one of the worst defensive ratings on the team, yet Stevens seems to reason that Jerebko's value currently is because of his defensive energy... so there's a bit of an incongruity there.
