So much being said for a player who was 2-5 from the field, 0-3 from 3s, 0-2 from the charity stripe... and all while being lost in defensive rotations quite often.

Has the bar been lowered this much?

Do not agree with him being lost on defensive rotations last night. His being in the right spot on defense is one of the reasons everyone was so happy with how he played last night.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

As I said, the bar has been lowered. He missed quite a few rotations while on the floor. Maybe in comparison with his bad defense previously it may look much better, but fact remains he got lost in rotations quite a few times for me to applaud his defensive showing.

We clearly saw the game differently. When he came on the game I focused on Young and did not see these missed rotations you speak of. My bar hasn't been lowered I just don't agree with your assessment at all.

I think Young missed a few defensive rotations, but they weren't that serious, and it was our impressive overall team defense that those mistakes didn't go as badly.

I think people need to stop doubting Young, and at least give him a chance to prove himself.

He hasn't ever really gotten over 20 minutes, so we haven't yet to see how well he's done. Give him a few minutes, and increase it, if he does indeed flourish.
