ALL IN FOR BEN. w/e the nets pick is, make it #1 with our other assets if we have 2!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Given the way this draft could conceivably end up for the C's(top 3, top 10 and top20) and given the quality of this draft, would it make more sense to trade the Dallas, Boston and bunch of 2nds in 2016 and the Nets 2018 pick for a top 5 pick this year and get two 2016 top 5 picks. Is this draft that good 1-5???
Ainge couldn't get a trade done in the last draft even though he made a godfather offer to Charlotte.  If the 2016 top 5 is really that good, no team is going to be willing to trade down for lesser draft picks.

I still like Skal a lot. A smooth shooting, athletic big man who blocks shots sounds like Stevens' wet dream. Yes, he needs to put on weight and learn how to play in the post but he's in the best place to do that right now, Kentucky. Just look at how polished Towns is after a year under Calipari. If Skal puts on 15 pounds and has a nice season, I'd love to add him to the team.

+1.... I think Ainges exact words at the time pretty much sums up the difficulty moving up. He said "people (GMs) fall in love with their picks".

Although while the clueless MJ may have loved Kaminsky, it seems like the reason the deal didn't get done was because Charlotte wasn't prepared scouting-wise on draft night to make choices at 15 and 16. As long as MJ runs that franchise, they will never be good.

Based on what I read about what the Celtics offered, those "people" would include Ainge.

This pick is so important to us and Ford's early talent evaluations are not encouraging. The slashers and athletes can't shoot. The 4's and 5's are more comfortable at the top of the key. The 2's aren't athletic enough to create shooting space. I watched the Poeltl vs Upshaw matchup last year carefully and it's not encouraging for Poeltl fans. It's still very early but a trade for an established player like Noel seems more enticing right now.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
Simmons, Brown, Ellenson, and Damion Jones seem like guys Ainge would like.

I have a feeling if that Nets pick falls in the 4-6 range, Jaylen Brown could very well be the pick.

How about Bryant at #16? The measurables are great!
I agree with Ford and you on Bryant. He has been on my radar and besides Ingram has been my sleeper since last April. I brought him up recently in a thread called "the next andre".....he reminds me physically of a D Jordan or Embiid. I think he has much more offensive potential than D Jordan did/does though lol.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.

Some times I think MJ does not want to miss the Next Larry Bird. Morrison, Zeller and Frankie?
Hum I see a pattern.
