first

James Young has star potential. The problem for him is that it will be very hard to reach  I think.

Other than him, I'll say Marcus and Terry. Both have the drive to be elite (not saying that it's a 100% thing) and the tools to succeed.

Comparison for their ceiling would be:
Marcus Smart - poor man Sidney Moncrief
Terry Rozier - Combo of Damian Lillard and Eric Bledsoe
James Young - not sure

Smart's the only one on the team who has appears to have star potential, but most likely he'll be a nice starter e.g. Eric Gordon / George Hill.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

David Lee is a former all-star and current NBA champion. I think that qualifies him as a star.

Also, none of the other players you mention have shown that they cannot be stars. How does one do that? You can't prove a negative. All you can do is show you can be a star by being one. Until then you have not shown anything.

I think he is a fallen star nowadays but we can hope.

In no particular order, I like Smart, Young, Rozier and Olynyk.

Smart -  has the mentality and overall game to get there.

Young -  If it all clicks within another 1-2 years, I could see him becoming a pretty lethal scorer - odds are long though here.

Rozier - that kid looks like he has the tools to be physically dominant on both ends of the floor, so i he works on his handle and shooting, he coudl have a pretty high ceiling.

Olynyk - seems so passive, but like Young, if it all Clicks this year or next, he continues working on his body and through continued playing time and experience his confidence on a night to night basis levels out, he has the tools to really impact a game in many ways.

But the guy to me that really stands out as having star potential is RJ Hunter.
* He's really long and has sneaky athleticism
* This will be good for him on D and help make up for his current lack of strength
* You can see he is already working on his strength
* He's has no conscience as a shooter, but he doesn't take many bad shots either - really important if you want to be a dominant scorer.
* He combines all this with some very good ball handling and passing skills.
* Looks like he's got a real motor - never stops moving.

I also think Mickey could turn into a workhorse type PF along the lines of a Horace Grant. Not spectacular but a steady 15 & 8 with very good defense. I'm not saying all star here - but long term starter potential.
