So why is Ainge willing to finalize those deals and do away with the flexibility that he's been maintaining?  I might have something to do with the fact that the Denver Nuggets agreed to a contract extension with Danilo Gallinari.

Perhaps with Gallo and other options off the table, Ainge is happy going forward with the roster as it is for the time being.  Obviously he's always looking for deals to upgrade, but at some point he has to put pen to paper and finalize the deals he's agreed upon.

If a team doesn't trade drafted players on draft night, don't they have to wait 60 days to trade them?

In that case, it could also be that they have an trade in principle that they are keeping hush-hush until the that 60 day period is up.
