With all the talk in the last month about Gallinari and Lawson to Boston,  I was thinking about another Nugget....Chandler.

do you guys think he would be an upgrade over Crowder and Turner on the wing or at least add depth of the bench?    I know he has his injury history, but played in 78 games this past year while averaging over 30+ minutes.  14 pts and 6 reb.

His salary is very high and long for a rebuilding team (10 mil this upcoming season w/ a PO of 12.8 mil in 18/19), but he is still only 28 this upcoming year. In comparison to other contracts this summer, it does not seem too too bad.

if you think you would take him, what would a fair price?  I think a player in the frontcourt (clearing up the logjam there) and/or  one or two 2nd rounders wouldn't be a bad idea

discuss.

Wasn't Chandler just signed to an extension by Denver, and thus ineligible to be traded for quite some time?

[dang]....you right.

I obviously I missed that signing a couple of weeks ago.

what are the trade restrictions to recently signed players?   how does it work?

I would have liked him for those salary numbers.

Off the top of my head, I think it's six months.

Minor upgrade on Jae Crowder. Not worth cost of acquisition (trade) or salary cap hit (pay).
