Did Johnson already sign his contract yet?  If he hasn't I'd be taking that contract and not give it to him.  I rather just do the Wallace and Lee deal, and not overpay for a Johnson.  It's a legit question because I know they offered him a deal, but don't know if he signed it just yet.

Well it isn't official as of right now. This could mean two things;
1. They will sign him later today (or another day)
2. They might be working on a S+T with Raptors.

The first is most likely (In my opinion). Plus there is nothing bad about overpaying Johnson as reports claim that the second year is non-guaranteed, which means that we could just waive him next season if it doesn't pan out ;)
Jack of all trades, master of none.

No, none of our deals are "done," we are said to be waiting for other moves.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yep, we are like vultures ready to pounce on the corpses of the free agency wars!

Reneging on the deal would be an awful idea.  Nothing is gonna make future FAs and their agents look elsewhere like going back on a deal you had with a guy more than a week ago because you decided that you don't need him anymore
I'm bitter.

I can see a sign and trade happening

To raptors: ko or sully, zeller, turner , TE?
To celtics: amir, Terence Ross

Tross is a decent defender, good 3 pt shooter, good in transition

Lineup

Amir
Lee
Tross
AB
Smart

Bench
KO
Jerebko/Mickey
Crowder/Young
Rozier/hunter
IT

I don't want Terrance Ross.

So we could just sign Amir Johnson outright, or agree to a sign & trade where we essentially give up Sullinger / KO, Turner, Zeller & a TE for Terrance Ross? Why would we do that?
