Even allowing for the fact that it is SAC, why would you trade a scorer like Gay when you are also bringing in a ball distributor like Rondo. The other thing is that the contract numbers I see are not $20 million a year but 3 years with the last year a player's option for $12,$13, and $14 million. That seems reasonable for a scorer SF like Gay. If someone has different numbers, please feel free to correct mine.
