there was no go to guy last night and made even worse with no center,kelly is in utah put him in uniform-
i stayed up late, as i live in europe to watch that game  and it was a mess
i think we otta buy gi gi  an expresso--a proven three point shooter
 you need a three point shooter to hit those shots and spread the floor
 he has got to be able to win games like the spanish kid-

Didn't we lose the night before with him?  It's summer league, I don't read too much into it after the years of watching people dominate the Summer League to be atrocious in the regular season.

with Smart/without Smart doesn't really matter.  the primary concern is that summer league is very guard-centric and with a team of mostly guards, we've looked horrendous

Rozier is a sg in a pg body. It drives me nuts that on a 3 to 1 transition opportunity he does not know how to pass the ball.

Besides Mickey, who is ok, those Celtic big men are chuckers. It's like their agent said, "shoot every time so another team notices you. Maybe wear pink light up shoes too."

So Marcus or not, Celtics are not winning without a good big man.

This is likely a Homer post but Im not that discouraged....yet. Summer league games just turn into pickup ball and I think(hope) most of our rookies were drafted for their potential fit in our system. Plus we are playing REALLY small out there.

we don't have a true center and holding smart totally out of game is not good for anybody
the starting 5 was who i would have started but both james and rj are trying to play d and its effecting there shots and what little team practice they had was with smart at point-

You've obviously never seen Rozier play outside of summer league games

I don't really care if they win a game in the summer league. The point of summer league is to give these guys a shot to see if they have a chance to make it in this league. Smart doesn't need to play another game, we know he can play in this league. I want see Young, the 4 rooks, and whatever big guys are on the roster. These guys need to come out and show something.

On a side note., C.J Fair looks like he's outplaying Young and the other 4 rooks.

Exactly. Smart, as the most experienced player was all over the ball in game one--to the same ultimate result.
