No matter what we want to see or hear the Celtics have their roster set for this year .. So it means are most likely approach of mediocrity of either a late lottery pick or early dismissal in playoffs.. We are calling for Ainge's job (or at least some of us).. Totally not his fault... The only thing I blame the organization with is the constant "fireworks" hearsay wheter its Wyc, DA, or other Boston media.. It has been laced in our heads that something is going to happen but DA has tried.. He has put big offers that placed the assets of the organization to try to move up on at leat three occasions. However the value that the Celtics own right now is not as high as the fans or organization view it ..

So we start free agency and the Celtics make three moves that by all means will cover thier salary cap for the year... So the moves... Well ... most of our jaws dropped when the Celtics gave 24 mil to a 10 year career 7 and 6 guy and 10mil to a guy who couldnt get off our bench half the time.. But looking into it they are more 1 year rentals with team options for next year that I highly doubt will be picked up unless they can play over 100% of their inital value.. So many will say what about Monroe, Harris, Aldridge, love.. For the most part most just dont want to play here so dont place it on the GM and with the money thrown around and mid level players makes it looks like worker at McDonalds making six figures. So DA will continue to play chess and strike when its appropriate..

So after this year the Celtics are once again in the situation where they can either wipe their roster clean (only Bradley, Thomas, Crowder, Rozier, and Hunter are 100% guranateed) or continue to build what still looks like mediocre or role player talent (Smart, Olynck, Sullinger, Zeller).. So basically its another year of let the young guys play and hope they raise value to either keep or trade for a batter player..

With salary cap projections rasing to 90mil in 2016 and 107mil in 2017 the Celtics will have the space but again they need the desire to play here..

You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I think FA players would come here if we had a solid core of stars (1-2 minimum). But we have none and we are not going about getting them in the right way. There is no right way,and strategy depends on each team individually,  but there is a quicker way.

Of course every player wanted to play for the Celtcs in the championship years.. But now its banking of Smart and the other young guys... I have a good feeling about Hunter

Shaq, Reggie Miller, Rasheed Wallace, Michael Finely, Pj Brown... While these players were out of their prime they came to play in role positions at a reduced price to try to win a championship... Miller never signed but was interested..
