They're getting Aldridge. Holy crap. And they probably get to keep Mills because of the $2 million bump in the cap.

Better than going to LaLa land.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Everything coming up Spurs this morning.

No doubt. They will be fun to root for.  The best organization in professional sports.

Yup.

They're the team we can feel good about while our Celts are still figuring it out.

They have cap space. You can absorb literally any contract provided you have the cap space.

....because playing with a 39-year-old Timmy Duncan is infinitely more enjoyable than playing with a 36-year-old Kobe Bryant.

Horford moves to PF, I suspect Millsap is gone.  Now with Carroll gone I see them targeting Harris if they want to not take that huge hit losing two top level starters.  Not good for C's in my opinion.

I don't see Paul Millsap leaving Atlanta.

nor do I, but the twittesphere suggests that a Milsapp for Harris sign in trade could be in order.

You can still feel good about the Celtics while feeling good about the Spurs.

Only if Splitter is coming off the bench but he's a bit expensive for that role.  Can Millsap play SF?

Horford should be happy that he doesn't have to play the 5 spot so much anymore, finally. Happy for him.  ;D

The details haven't been worked out yet;

The Hawks are still working out details of the trade but are expected to absorb Splitter into cap space, sources said. That could leave them with about $18 million in remaining space and will allow them to be flexible depending on the free agent decision coming from forward Paul Millsap.
