Just saw on Yahoo that the Lakers may not pick up Jordan Hill contract...may be someone the Celtics may look at
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I think Hill would be a very nice pickup.

Averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds per game last year.

I know Ainge inquired on him last summer when he was a free agent. Would love to have him and can't imagine he would break the bank either (not like that would be a concern for me.)

The Lakers declined to pick up his $9mil option.  Go get'em Danny.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

He's very much in the running. Ainge was linked to him before, so I don't see why he wouldn't be after him again.

My free agent guess is :

Demarre Carroll or Tobias Harris

&

Robin Lopez or Jordan Hill

I think Ainge lands two of them.  I prefer the Harris/Hill combo.

Only thing about hill is he seems a bit immature. I would rather have someone else to be honest.

I'd be fine with him, Danny could use our $12m TE that could be a win win for both teams.

Any evidence to this or is this another CB myth?

Without watching them consistently because they were basically a noncompetitive tanking team, i have a hard time distinguishing between the talents of Ed Davis and Jordan Hill. Does anyone have a strong opinion about which would be the preferred acquisition? I'm leaning towards Davis because Hill supposedly is a bit immature.

I've always liked Hill but he gets a pretty bad wrap. I don't know if people think he should put up better numbers and is underachieving or what.

I'm not he'd be the guy I'm chasing for the Celtics squad. Then again if he comes for 7 or 8 mil maybe BS can get him to play at his talent level. Hill has been a per36 guys wet dream.
