Wasn't Ainge interested in Hill in the past ?  Out of those listed, I think he might be target #1.  Good fit as well.

If I recall, Hill was one of the first free agents Ainge contacted after Isaiah Thomas.

I wonder what kind of contract Young will demand?
he's got CBS role player written all over him.  would be a great fit alongside LMA.

Agreed.

Smart/Wes Matthews/Thad Young/LMA/Jordan Hill would be a sweet lineup!!

Zero interest in those 3. Thaddeus Young is the only one good enough to crack the Celtics rotation but he isn't good enough that I'd sign him and allow him to interfere with Sully's & Olynyk's playing time and development.

Could care less about Sully and Olynyk's "development." That term drives me insane. It should be about putting the best team possible on the court. I'd be interested in adding any one of these 3 players.

Also, I don't understand the statement about how Young is the only one good enough to crack the Celts rotation. It's not like our team is bubbling with talent right now.
I think all 3 could crack the rotation. Young would probably be the only notable upgrade ( I dont love Davis and Hill is pretty eh) My issue is that none would probably come at good value.

I mean Thad Young is an upgrade but him opting out means he expects to get upward of 11 mil. Is he worth cramming up all that cap space just to get a small upgrade at the 3? I dont think he is.

Id rather save my cap space for players with higher ceilings.

Jordan Hill opting out means he expects more than 9 mil (i think that could be wrong) and if my memory serves me Ed Davis is expecting more than 5 mil? None of these guys seem worth the money.

Jordan Hill didn't opt out, the Lakers are planning on declining his team option.

I think we can get him at either a 2 or 3 year deal at 5-7 million per, which wouldn't be a bad deal at all.
