Please stay with the Wizards, Paulie. The East offers an easier road to the Finals, and DC's unis are way better than those crappy new Clippers duds. Plus, I couldn't possibly cheer for you if you played on that team of West Coast whiners.

Are we really ruling out Pierce back to the Celtics? Obviously its contingent on the team we put together, but if we do end up putting together a competitive team, I don't see why Paul wouldn't want to come back here. Los Angeles was Paul's home almost 20 years ago, I don't see that as much of a factor anymore.

Agreed.

I think the authors intent was to first say PP would play next season and then to speculate that it could also be in LA. I don't think this is anything new or is to say he has ruled out playing here. If PP can just wait, he might have a great option to come home to Boston and captain a great team again.

And I would love to see PP mentor Crowder for a year or two.

I'd much rather see my man Paul Pierce in Wizards uniform than the Clippers and that floppy joke of a coach.

He shall return to the Celtics as a front office guy, imo.

Pierce starts over lance so they can use lance as a ball handler in the 2nd unit

I'd say pierce has a better chance going to the finals with the clippers than wizards

I'd like more for pp to mentor young as both are swingman players and offensively orientated

I agree.  The Wizards aren't getting by the Cavs.  The Clips have the talent.  They need Pierce's winners mentality.  He might even have a good effect on Lance.
