Why in the world would Sacramento or Denver want Boston involved in that deal? Denver
supposedly
wants the best player in the deal and they're going to instead re-route him to another team?

I guess if Denver wants to reinvent themselves as the Boston Celtics West, this is certainly the trade that would do it.
