Does that he asked for more than that perhaps the 28th pick. We have to really consider this trade especially if Stanley Johnson is there a 10 Agrees or disagrees.

I am not too familiar with miamis cap situation but I assume they'd have to match salary ere and for me one of the biggest values in moving AB for a pick is that you would be able to also add 7 more mill in cap.

More concerningly I don't think Miami has 7 mil in contracts they'd give up.

Ofcourse I would do it. I've only been preaching and dropping this scenario down since we made the playoffs.

But I would go with Myles Turner. Turner has everything you would want in a big man/pf except he has that hip issue, but we have already dealt with that in other threads.

Then I'd draft Upshaw. Maybe we get him at 16 or maybe we can get him with 28 but we should get him. Then next year we can draft our small forward of the future....Brandon Ingram.

Also, I'd like to see us trade KO for Bruno Caboclo.

Well, they are well over the cap and would definitely have to send out matching salary.  They have lots of small contracts that they could use to match it with, it all depends on how attached they are to guys like the 36-year-old Birdman (5M expiring), Chalmers (4.3M, expiring), Haslem, Zoran Dragic, Ennis, Johnson & Beasley.   I can't imagine they are too tightly bound to all of those guys so if they wanted to, they could do it.

Whether such a deal makes sense on our end?  Maybe.  Maybe not.

Depending on who was still available at #10, I might do it.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

I'd say Bradley is pretty close to worth the #10 pick.
Depends on how well he fits with the team we are trading him to, which in this case would be Miami.
They might demand to drop a  semi-bad contract on us or for the #28 pick as well though.

Bradley + #28  for the #10
or Bradly for #10 + semi-bad contract

Would DA do this trade?  Would you?

I would if it got us Myles Turner. And with the 16th we could trade down or just select Upshaw.

still insisting on Upshaw at 16 when this guy is dropping further and further in the draft projections to the point where he could quite possibly go undrafted.  too much bust potential.

unless you're going to go on record as being a fan of drafting Fab Melo, the closest pre-draft bust prediction to Upshaw that Danny picked, I can't imagine the utter fascination for drafting this year's biggest headache

Upshaw has more issues than anyone in the draft in many years.  He has no chance of being drafted in the first round...

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Good idea but with Wade and(most likely) Dragic, they'd be overloaded with salary at the guard spots.
I mean they could go a small line up with

Dragic
Bradley
Wade
Bosh
Whiteside

Would be a great line up but it's tough for Wade to guard Lebron for a playoff series come post season.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
