Good read, nothing really new. I'm no cap expert but I would imagine CLE could keep and pay everyone. What I don't really know is how that repeater tax will effect top teams going forward. Common sense would say, screw the future and win with LBJ now.

For your reading pleasure.

TP for the share.

Looking forward to reading it but my pre-reading thoughts are that CLE should do everything in their power NOT to retain Love this off season. Would love for the NBA to be "trade deadline crazy" when FA begins in July and just sign and trade Love off to somewhere obscure.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

If they keep and pay everyone it could very well be the largest payroll in NBA history.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

More and more, I'm thinking he opts in, rehabs next season and rebuilds value, and THEN goes into FA when the cap goes up and there will be more opportunities.

Does he need to rebuild his value though? I think he would easily get a four year max if he opted out. If I were him I'd rather be coming off of an injury with four more max years of security than bank on rebuilding my value in a year coming off injury.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The way Labron is playing, and the quality of the NBA, Cleveland doesn't even need him.

To add to this, you can't forget Mozgov will need to be paid next summer as well.
