I doubt that Danny would trade Avery for one of the two picks. DA loves the kid and I don't think that he's letting him go unless we get a potential star player in return ;D
Jack of all trades, master of none.

I'd be all for it. I still have no idea what this celtics team is. I honestly don't think we have any players that could be on the nucleus of a championship team. MAYBE Thomas and Crowder. Smart just lost rookie of the year to a guy taken in the second round.

It's easy to devalue AB from where the Celtics stand.
Try to envision the value of AB for a contender. His 3pts ability and his defense with that kind of contract with the cap rising.

True, I mean before this season he was one of my favourites and in fairness he's probably even better now. I just can't stand his long range twos, they kill me  ??? I do think that long term he's a 3rd guard though, so it would be better to pounce on an opportunity to upgrade.
Would the 8th pick be an upgrade?

If it was hezonja then yes. Perhaps not in his rookie season but over the next few years certainly. He has the ability to be good defensively and he's already good offensively. And the has the potential to become a closer, which in my mind Bradley does not.

his ego have more potential than him. few months ago he said "I should be the first pick at the NBA draft", when he was asked is he going to watch leo messi he said "he should be watching me". he was punished by barcelona coach for those words, cocky attitude. and also he was directly guilty for some defeats for barcelona in close games because of his useless fouls. his mid range is far from GREAT. hezonja best weapon is 3 point game, few games with 50%+ percent from down town. doesn't know how to create shot for himself. in my opinion he is not a player that Brad Stevens want because he is far from team player, when he is in difficult situation he is likely to shot then pass the ball
