How about one out of left field with the Raptors

Smart, Olynyk, Wallace and James Young
for Kyle Lowry and Patrick Patterson

Have read the Raptors could look to rebuild.

Also, a trade exception and future 2nd rounder(s) to the Bucks for Jared Dudley and OJ Mayo(gives them cap space to resign Middleton)

Then, max offer to a center (Robin Lopez, D Jordan, Omer Asik, Greg Monroe, etc.)

PG-Lowry/Thomas
SG-Bradley/Mayo
SF-Dudley/Turner/Thomas
PF-Patterson/Sully
C-FA signing

Lowry is overrated. I like his defense, I like his ability to play hard, but his regular season numbers versus his playoffs are vastly different.

Have you seen him in the playoffs against the Wizards? This guy looked completely defeated, and honestly gave up. You could tell by his body language that when they were down 3-0, any chances of coming back were deflated. No pun intended.

He was supposed to be their leader, but had absolutely no drive to try to come back and win. I actually think the Raptors are in playoff purgatory. DeRozan, Lowry, Ross, Patterson, and Jonas V is a good team full of players nearing or close to their primes, but none of them are players I would consider to be superstars. DeRozan has the potential to be a deadly go to scorer, but he still has an inconsistent 3 pt shot.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Trade with Denver

Lawson+Gallinari for Thomas, Turner, Wallace, Young, #16

Denver gets a cheaper replacement in Thomas for Lawson. They also get a replacement for Gallinari in Turner which they can have a 1-year look at. We dump Wallace in the process and I am sure Denver wouldn´t mind the bad contract for 1 year. They pick up 2 future assets in Young and #16 which is along with Thomas fair value for Lawson+Gallinari. If they dont like Young, we could throw in a late first instead. This trade only makes sense for Boston if we are able to sign a max free agent.
