These guys are set to become FAs in the 2016/2017 seasons.  Would you give up a good amount of assets to try to bring them in?  I still remember these guys winning a championship together in college. That was a really good team

Idea
Sullinger + 2 1sts for Noah
KO + 2 1sts for Horford

Then lock up each guy for x number of years

Startling lineup
Noah
Horford
?
AB
Smart

2nd round playoff exit.

Also it's worth nothing that Noah's game has dropped off in a scary way.

His statistics this season (7.2 points, 9.6 rebounds,  4.7 assists, 0.7 steals, 1.1 blocks, 44% FG, 60% FT) were atrocious compared to what we're used to from him, and it's not just the basic stats...his Defensive Real-Plus-Minus was worst than both Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger.

Yes guys, Noah was REALLY bad this year.

About the only bright spot for him was his assist numbers (which are still mind blowing for an approximate 7 footer) but other than that he had 'dissapointment' written all over him.

Agree with everything you said.

Also Noah doesn't have much of an offensive game, and even his offensive putbacks in the series have been off. I'm sorry but the knee surgery has really affected his athleticism, and even when Noah tries to hustle on the boards, you can tell his lift and his knees have taken a toll on him. While Noah doesn't rely on athleticism, but high IQ on defense, and pinpoint passing from the high post. The Cavs literally give him like 5 feet of space to shoot, and he doesn't take advantage of it.

More like winning a championship.

Disagree.

Hawks did well in regular season, but nothing could suggest they are championship contenders. I would even take the Wizard, Bulls, and Cavs ahead of them in terms of contending. Horford has and always been the Hawks best player, but he won't put us over the top without a go to scorer.

Hawks system predicated on ball movement, but eventually you need someone that can take that final shot, or you just give the ball to, and see what they come up with.

I actually think we should try to go after Carmelo, and either Asik/Hibbert. We got enough assets that we'll be able to still reel in another Allstar, or try to rebuild through draft while contending.

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

Would agree but don't see NY trading him, especially not to Boston.
