I'm pretty sure what Stevens did has never been done before.

I'd say it's most similar to what Doc did in his first year coaching:

Except they had a slightly better record but didn't make the playoffs.

The post-script to that year was that they were able to draw T-Mac and Grant Hill to sign there in the offseason, though Hill unfortunately had some brutal injury issues once he got there.

They almost got Tim Duncan, too.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Oh yeah I forgot about that.  He's such a fixture in SA that it's easy to forget he very seriously considered leaving that year.  But while Orlando has other advantages, it's likely the team's overachieving helped at least a bit with those FAs.  Let's hope it's the case here too.

Can you imagine what kind of a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.show the 'tanking/not tanking' threads would be (moreso than usual) if Duncan had just bailed for Orlando four years after being drafted?

pretty sure CBS has good chances to be awarded with the coach of the year award.

He's up there with the best already. Does a good job managing egos and personalities, young and old. Gets the most out of his players - reclamation projects like Crawford and Turner have flourished under him. Offense is beautiful when it's clicking and he's implemented a defensive scheme that's excelling without an interior presence.

Comes prepared each game and calls the most creative ATO's in the league. Cool and even keeled on the sideline but a killer underneath. Got the team to buy into his philosophy and play for each other (and the ones that didn't aren't around anymore). Brad Stevens is the man.

They had me until Doc is better than CBS. Utter nonsense, Doc would never have this team in the playoffs.

Look for CBS to watch a million of tapes on Lebron moving fwd. Watch how teams like Dallas, Spurs beat/frustrated him

You need to make Lebron shoot the ball. Make him go left.  Get him in some foul problems

This will take a big group effort. We need IT to score .  KO to bring out mozgov etc

Thibs and Doc should be lower than Vogel and Stevens.

Thibs grinds his players into dust all regular season and Doc's team is so undisciplined ITX be a miracle if the refs don't officiate the Clippers right outta the playoffs.
