the genius of isiah thomas

Recently i voiced my concern of bringing back isiah thomas too soon. In hindsight, i was wrong but the fall he took on his back again and his agonizing crawl off the floor in excrutiating pain, showed i had a valid point.Every once in awhile something  beyond special comes into nba. A lebron,davis, seth curry but then there is isiah 5-9,i marvel at his change of pace from subtle to explosive,his change of direction,his ability to shoot off driblle and shoot threes,then his vertical and strength that allows him to draw contact to either shoot or dish.His court vision and timing,his abilty to dart and weave among the big boyz while taunting and drawing fouls.The mix of smart and bradley on d and isiah on offense,these guys embarrass the opposition in front of 20,000people.This is what concerns me ,that this taunting will draw a response like wades and that one of these bigs will aggresively react,not dirty but hard and isiah will land wrong--he has spent his whole carear hitting the deck,So i will coninue to watch this very special isiah and marvel at his genius .What a gift for a celtics fan

I love the impact our bench makes when it enters the game .

The starters set a rhythm to the game ...then...... ..BAM !

 IT , KO and Crowder ....usually knock the opposing team for a loop.

Many times forcing the starters on the other team back in sooner than they would have wanted.

IT makes a huge difference.

i ilike how it can just demoralize the opponents bigs ,just keeps on scoring or going to the line-drawing fouls is another weapon forcing them to replace bigs-his strength,and size actually are favorable as he navigates the paint-its like fireworks watching him when he's in a zone-wow wow  unbelievable-
