David Aldridge: Per sources, G Arron Afflalo expected to opt out of ?15-?16 ($7.75M) to become UFA. Obv key for Portland 2 re-sign w/Wes Matthews rehabbing.

Could be a good replacement for Bradley if he is traded to move up in the draft .

No thanks...

Afflalo is both 30 years old AND a significant downgrade from Bradley (his stat's dropped off hard this season).

Compare Afflalo's stats to Bradley's and you'll see that offensively, they were pretty much on par last year...while defensively Bradley is clearly FAR superior (Afflalo was statistically one of the worst defenders in the league at his position this year).

TP.

Plus, if Afflalo's looking to opt out, he's looking for a significant amount more than $7.5m. He's not worth much more than that.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.
