Needs are:

A defensive center:
Realistic targets
-Robin Lopez
-Omer Asik
-Enes Kanter

Scoring Power Forward (more consistent and productive than Sully/Olynyk):
Realistic Targets
Greg Monroe
Paul Millsap

Scoring Small Forward (more consistent than Turner/Crowder)
Realistic Targets
Draymond Green
Luol Deng
Danny Green

As for players who I THINK could possibly be acquired by trade with some of our assets:
-Kenneth Faried
-Roy Hibbert (if he picks up his option)
-Monta Ellis (if he picks up his option)
-Thaddeus Young (if he picks up his option)
-Aaron Afflalo

Greg Monroe is only player I'd consider. Green is great because he is surrounded by great players. Think Faried this summer. That is Green this season. I'd shy away.

The C's need a rim protector (C) and an all star caliber wing player (Sf). If they got those 2, they could live with Sully/Olynyk at the 4 or trade them for something more established. But they definitely need a center and a small forward.

LOVE the term "3 and D" Small Forward. we need an elite one of those... and an elite defensive mobile Big (who hopefully can hit a little set shot) and we are ready to rock.

once the dust settles next year the C's will end up with either Jordan or Monroe....most likely Monroe...

C's need to draft a WCS like player and then as everyone else says, we need a legit star at the 3. I'm fine with a Bradley/Smart/IT backcourt rotation, and a Sully/KO/WCS/Zeller FC will work, although it would be nice to get a PF upgrade. But our SF position is a huge problem. We need to draft, sign, or trade for a star at that spot..

I'm starting to think we should primarily just go for people that are slumping and and hope that CBS can work his magic on them.  For instance, I bet we could get Batum fairly cheaply.  I doubt that a player of Monroe's caliber would want to come here if he was getting equal offers from the Lakers and Knicks, but he might if we were already a 5 seed.  I say we just draft Myles Turner (or whoever) this year, then add a reclamation project with a high ceiling, offer some big FAs good money and see if they bite, then try to make a playoff push.

We'll have a more entertaining product, Stevens will be happy and not bolt to Indy, our lotto pick talents will get some run and hopefully we can trade Sullinger and our 2016 mid season for another impact player.  I am highly pro-tank in general, but I think it's time to move on.

My current stance on what I would like to see the Cs upgrade at least one position in the front court this off-season. Though less then ideal I think this will have to come at the PF.

I see two targets. Greg Monroe or Kenneth Faried.

I am torn because I think Sully is on their level as a player. I am just losing faith in his long term health. I worry that when his rookie deal runs out the Cs are going to be left with an injury prone double double PF looking for a big (new salary cap) contract. Obtaining Monroe or Faried may be the safer option. Both will make big money but its per salary cap jump big money.

Monroe, he would involve a bidding war but the Cs could always step in with a S&T to Detriot to pay him top dollar. Monroe isn't the versatile defender Faried is but he does being size to the position and is a good rebounder. His acquisition will make it tough for who ever is left behind (KO, Sully or Both) as they will not fit well on D. This would likely lead to another trade to upgrade the SF.

Faried, shouldn't be to hard to obtain. Denver reportedly signed him because they felt pressure after his showing in the FIBA world games arn't super high on him. His deal fits inside of the Cs large TPE and a combination of Sully and a 1st should be enough to bring him to the Cs. He wouldn't be the ideal fit on offense but his mobility/energy will be a perfect fit on D. Bass has shown the value of a PF who can seamlessly switch on pick. Faried brings that along with elite rebounding. If Faried is obtained using Sully, KO makes for a great 3rd big. I could even see this trade expanded to include Gallinari, allowing Denver to go into a semi rebuild. Maybe a package built around Sully+TPE+Turner+clippers pick, 76ers 2nd? Gallinari has a scary injury history but will be in the last year of his deal and if healthy is a great fit at the 3.

Post trade Celtics (resign Crwoder)

PG Smart
SG AB
SF Gallinari
PF Faried
C  Zeller
6th Thomas
7th KO
8th Crowder
9th Young
10th 2015 1st

If Gallinari can stay healthy and IT stays happy this is a playoff team. This team could make the playoffs and still hold 2016 Nets pick and the rest of DA asset pile.

1. We need all star level talent.

2. We need more 2 way players, especially in the front court. I don't consider any of our bigs to be effective defenders in the crunch time of a close game.

3. Rim protecting center would be great.

In the draft, depending on where we land, I like everyone in the top 13. They all have 2 way potential. WCS, Turner, Johnson, Winslow fit our position needs well in that 5-13 range.

I don't see kelly Oubre as a small forward. His size is good for a 2 guard.

In free agency, Deandre Jordan is the most realistic max target that fits this team. If the price is right I would take a look at Amir Johnson, Robin Lopez.

The most important needs are
1. Shot creation
2. Bigs that are agile enough to play the pick and roll/block shots.

If we get either of these in the draft it will more likely be players that have the potential to do these things rather than take care of the need right away.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

TP. Yes on the potential point.

And I forgot to list shot creation. We have 1 guy that does it pretty well - Thomas. He is best suited as a shot creator 6th man on a contender. We need starting calibur shot creators.
