Stephenson: It would be a blessing to play in Brooklyn

Lance Stephenson signed a three-year deal with the Hornets last summer but he was involved in some trade talks over the last few months.

Per NY Daily News, “It would be a blessing (to play in Brooklyn),” Stephenson said. “But right now, Charlotte, that’s what I’m doing right now.”
There are concerns that Stephenson — who is known as a volatile personality — wouldn’t be able to deal with the distractions of playing in his hometown. He shrugged at the idea Saturday. “Just play ball,” he said. “That’s all I have to do.”
