NBPA president Chris Paul had been pushing LeBron James to join him in No. 2 spot in union, sources tell Yahoo. Significant 1-2 punch.

With Paul and James now at the top of the NBPA, it will be interesting to see what direction they take in the next round of negotiations in 2017.  It's obviously advantageous for those two personally to get rid of the maximum salary rules.  However, the max salary leaves a bigger share of the pie for other players.  If the NBPA leaders focus on just increasing the revenue share to the players overall, and increasing contract length and getting rid of the extension rules (i.e. Making them a more viable option) it would help the union create a more organized front, as that would help all the players.  But I'm sure LeBron chafes somewhat (rightly so, I might add) at the max salary rules.  Again, it should be interesting (if you like this sort of thing.)

"We'll give the owners a higher percentage of revenue from tickets and jersey sales as long as you make flopping legal and don't test for PEDs until BronBron retires."

Id like to see them
Eliminate the salary cap. Not luxury tax so it's like baseball.

Eliminate max salaries.

Have NFL type contracts that feature guarantees, contract reworking at any time and a franchise option.

I'd like that setup for owners and players.

PS forgot eliminate no trade clauses.

Wow

Two of my least favorite guys in the league are the prez and vice prez

Serious question: are they the two floppingest super stars ever?
I trust Danny Ainge
