We had no business winning that game. Denver had superior talent but Shaw mismanaged the game all night. Stevens did a great job subbing, using time outs and controlling tempo. Also his plays out of time outs were excellent. Really solid job.

I love beating Brian Shaw's team.

Kudos to Brad for taking Ty Lawson out drinking last night.

Honestly if portland had aldrige and denver had lawson tonight , we would be 0-2

Even when I'm up and down on CBS, I don't miss out on saying how great he has been doing with the rotations since a few games before Green was traded. He stopped forcing it by playing every active player. For the most part (even when we lose), he has been much better.

He has been more vocal on the side too... I never paid attention to him as much as I am now but he seems to be more vocal and interactive since the RR trade. That's not a knock on RR, I'm just glad he isn't just letting the kids go out there and do what they want, it looks like he is coaching more. He always paced the sideline but I can hear him a LOT recently and I see the players look to him much more. He seems happier of late, even when we lose. He looked like someone shot his dog for a while before the RR trade... he seemed so stressed. Not lately. I guess it's easier to swallow losses when you have less talent and younger players.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Even without Aldridge and Lawson, did you expect Portland and Denver to lose to the C's at home?  If not, then the fact that they were out is irrelevant.

Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

The interesting thing to me is he has pretty much accepted that he has almost an entire roster of bench players so instead of trying to create a consistent rotation, he's mixing and matching depending upon the opponent.  Not sure that it matters much in the long run other than to show that CBS is trying his best to still win games.

More importantly to me though is he has this team playing at its talent level...maybe slightly above..

They're definitely working harder and doing better late in games than they did when Rondo and Green were still here...for what that's worth.
