Wondering if Ainge trading Rondo and Green (players he had concluded he must trade) for 1sts will help us out down the line when we try to acquire legitimate players for first rounders -- maybe around draft time?

The flip side is Mozgov returned two #1s.

although rondo is a half year rental and green is essentially the same, mozgov is 1.5 year contract, and Cleveland got a 2cd back in return (and Cleveland's desperate)

As of this moment I doubt the wolves would even pick up the team option on Bennett.  It's 7.3M given that he was the #1 overall.  He still has a little time to fix things, but it's not looking good.

Dion Waiters cost OKC Lance Thomas + "...a protected 2015 first-round pick to Cleveland in the deal. The Cavs will get the pick if it falls outside the top 18 this year or if it falls outside the top 15 in 2016 or '17."

I could see us making a similar move for a disgruntled scorer, maybe Terrance Ross is tired of taking a backseat to Derozan and Lou Williams. Ross joins Corey Brewer as some of the least likely players to score 50+ points in a game.
