Once DA is done dealing I expect our roster to look like this

Smart
Zeller
KO
Sully
Bradley
Turner
Crowder
James Young

Possibly Bass and Thornton, Jameer Nelson, Gerald Wallace and a ton of picks to turn this somehow into 3 legitament superstars and a young surrounding cast like we had last time.  Otherwise we are just going to go on forever trading players off and pairing down our roster trying to draft the next larry bird.  How do you think it's going to look?

We've traded off Rondo and Green who could have been 2 pieces but seems like we are going the draft route unless we can make something happen like last time with the big 3.

There's some method to this madness one would hope?

some of these guys are going to get traded off to get a legit superstar i would think or something..  but yeah we'll probably end up keep 5 of those guys to go with 3 superstars.  8 man rotation.

jUst trying to go with what we know and doing the math.

Sadly, after the Indiana experience, Turner doesn't seems to have trade value. So he looks to be our starting 3 when we trade Green. Young probably starts getting minutes behind him then. Not sure what we do if we get Prince back. Buyout, I guess.

If Green deal is finalized tonight, Boston GM Danny Ainge will potentially have 11 first-round picks over the next four years.

This rebuild is not going to look like 2007. We don't have a Paul Pierce to build around.  DA is taking a different route.

The route he's taking could fail miserably or could result in a contender that will last 20 years.

That's the question.  We are going to try to draft the next larry bird or something but that player has to be there or trade for 3 legitament guys when we traded off green and rondo vs adding pieces to them so i dont know how that makes sense.

I just don't think people understand how incredible this fact is.

Sully and Marcus have potential to be 2 pretty good players i feel.  KO is pretty good nad we dont really know his upside yet. I think KO is still a pretty good question mark.  He is so up and down and his defense is so horrid and he does bonehead things at times.  Especially lately.  Turner looks like potentially a good roleplayer and go between.  Bradley. james young looks like a player who could find some upside here. Crowder looks like a young enough decent enough roleplayer.  Same with Zeller has some upside.

Everyone else is kind of useless long term. Wallace is a decent resident sage i heard him called for some of these young guys and his contract could be used in a major trade.  Jameer is decent for the time being but has no long term value.  Same with Thornton.  Bass is bass and im not sure why he's here.

we are going hard after Okafor at this point i feel.  Depen ding on where we end up might make moves accordingly.

Most drafts in the past the hype surroudning them is silly to me because we weren't in that position but now we kind of can hype these guys.

I've never understood with fans that don't even know what the celtics are doing and talk about things in context of what the celtics are actually doing at the time.

Bass is next, probably to a WC contender that needs to bolster their front line.

DA wants picks and stuff with value that he can move.  He doesnt want players back that put us in worse position.  So moving bass for a pick and expiring contract etc...  Thornton same thing or younger chip or something.
