OKC: Green, Wright
Bos: Jackson, Perkins (salary filler), Future 1st (Hopefully something like 2017 but more realistically probably 2015)
OR
OKC:Bass, Bradley
Bos: Jackson, Perkins (salary filler)
Reasons OKC would do it: All four players (Green, Bass, Wright, and Bradley) would help fill a need for OKC in their title quest this season. Green is a major upgrade at the 2, and he helps provide insurance for any more Durant injuries. Wright and Bass would also be excellent depth off of a pretty putrid OKC bench, because they both provide good balances of offense and defense. Bradley would also fit the mold of a defensive 2 guard next to Westbrook that Brooks likes, and he's a major upgrade over Roberson right now.
OKC is almost certainly going to lose Jackson this summer, because noone wants to pay a backup point guard 10 million a year. It would suck to lose a veteran presence like Perkins, but he's needed to make the salaries match.
Reasons Boston would do it: Green, Bass, Wright, and probably even Bradley are all on borrowed time. Jackson has ties to the Boston area, and a Jackson/Smart backcourt is very interesting. Smart is not looking like an obvious point guard, so it may be better to play him in a two point-guard lineup to lessen his responsibilities. That pairing provides great length, defense, and athleticism. Shooting might be a concern, but it can always be bettered with time and practice. Also, it might be less of a concern with a dead-eye shooter (like Young) at the 3. In addition, we'd also get another draft pick in the first trade, and we get what looks to be an upgraded guard in Jackson over Bradley in the second trade.
