Any negative thoughts please post them somewhere else. For anyone looking to judge Rondo can look elsewhere, or post somewhere else please in the 9000 threads currently up on Cblog.

Quick rant about last night. There wasn't a single time Rondo or any starter on the bench looked like they were upset, or mad cause they were benched. They were genuinely excited, and cheering on our team.

So much criticism for Rondo, but Sully/Bradley and Zeller played sparingly little minutes, so why so much hate? People complain CBS doesn't ride the hot hand enough, and when he does; results in 9000 trade Rondo threads.

Yes, Rondo had a bad game last night. So did Bradley, Sully and Zeller. Rondo has been the scapegoat for so long, I honestly would be sad if Rondo left, but even if he did, I'd understand after how we belittle him.

If you’re looking for evidence of team chemistry, you saw it last night. Every made shot resulted in explosion of cheers from the bench; starters included. I believe in Ubuntu, even when Rivers has been long and gone, and KG is no longer with us. I believe chemistry, determination, and hustle with good coaching is what creates a strong team. That is why OKC can't win a ring. Brooks can't coach, and chemistry on that team always seems mixed.

I know at least three players or more will be gone when we become contenders, whether it be Rondo, Smart, or whoever. But I stress a team that believes in each other, strives off of each others energy as brothers in arms, and unifies like the Celtics Big 3 of KG, Pierce, and Allen is as dominant as their first year together, and dang near unbeatable.

I knew coming into this year, expectations of playoffs or tanking for a top pick; whichever route it be, I am going to enjoy watching this team grow, sweat, and claw their way back as underdogs. I trust Ainge, and I believe the assets hes been acquiring will either pay off in Allstars, or we'll be rebuilding.

Get your seat belts buckled, its gonna be one hell of a fun ride.

EDIT: Also, gonna say this about last night. I didn't care if we won last night, we tried.. Wall played like he was possessed. And he was.

Wall said he knew he couldn't lose this game, especially for a young six year old girl who fought the battle, but passed away unfortunately. Wall had just recently found out.

Quote
Miyah Nelson was a six-year-old girl who became friends with John Wall, and who recently lost her battle with Burkitt Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer in the United States.  Wall dedicated last night’s win to her, and was so emotional after the game, that he broke down and couldn’t finish his post-game on-court interview.

I absolutely do not understand the negativity about last night's game. A one point double overtime loss on the road to a probably playoff team where Wall had to have a career night to beat off a rookie suddenly means.....well let's see here.

Our roster is flawed! Really? Please show me a team with no roster flaws in any pro sport.

Rondo is terrible. Surprise surprise. Who woulda thought.

Stevens is terrible.  (So by this theory the coach of the Wiz must be really really bad, right?)

Sully is bad.

Avery is bad.

Am I forgetting anything?

I was very proud of my team last night. We never gave up.

You forget something.

Start James Young, fire Ainge, and tank for Towns.

TP for you

my thoughts too..I always feel Rondo is a scapegoat for a lot of Cbloggers here. Yes he has flaws and contributed to a lot of bad plays in the games we lost, but I don't think this means "Rondo sucks, trade him!"

I agree with you that chemistry is everything so if we get more help in the future with the same mentality, this team could be dangerous. There are still a lot of work but I am excited to see what happens down the road

But the biggest eyesore for Rondo right now is his fourth-quarter production. Again, fair or not, the youthful Celtics are looking toward Rondo as the veteran leader in crunch time. Here's his fourth-quarter stat line: 98 minutes, 8-of-31 shooting (a team-worst 25.8 percent), 28 assists, 11 turnovers, 5 blocked attempts, minus-45 in plus/minus.

I'm a big time Sully fan but he deserves criticism for that game last night. He was consistently late when rotating and helping the other Big.

Olynyk whom I usually blast on these forums was 10 times more active and was making consistent efforts to rotate and cut off the rim.

It's hard not to rant about theses things when they are so obvious. Sully needs to get in better shape and stop worrying about picking up fouls if he's late when rotating back.

Rondo is not a go to scorer.. Hes a great floor general, and one of the best passers in the NBA. If we had a Melo type of player, Rondo wouldn't need to force the issue of trying to facilitate/score.

Agree. Sully if 10-15 pounds shed, could be a Kevin Love lite.

Yeah I mean the team is about where I expected them to be recordwise, but they are fun to watch.  TP for the perspective!

Gotta stay patient in the process. Young players like Olynyk, Sullinger, Smart, etc. will all have their ups and downs.  Hopefully in 3-4 years they become consistently good and avoid games like the one you talk about above.

I like KO, but Sully to me seems like he has a far higher ceiling. If he even averages 34-36% 3pt, he can be a 16-18/9-10/2.8 APG which is a fringe Allstar in the East.
