Potential Trade Targets that play the 5

Ed Davis from the lakers  is a nice above the rim player option that likely will be available by the deadline. It would prob take multiple 2nds for him

Ed Davis is a nice player, but as far as starting caliber NBA centers go, I'd personally rather keep Tyler Zeller. I think Davis is a back up big man in the NBA and trading for him at this point is a sideways move because there just wouldn't be enough room on our roster.
 He doesn't provide the starting center impact we are looking for and doesn't really have any offensive game other than dunks and lobs- he's basically a poor man's DeAndre Jordan.

 Now if we are looking at trading away Olynyk, Zeller or Sullinger as part of a larger trade then he'd be a good bench target indeed. He could come in off the bench like Ian Mahinmi and can play center if his opponent is smaller/not as strong.

I would like Dieng.  But most likely it will be easier to get Capella.  He is less proven, but he is athletic and shows upside.  Could be better for us than Zeller defensively.  Houston also would like to win now, so what chips do we put on the table to land Clint Capella?

Would definitely like Dieng, think he would fit this team perfectly but after watching the Timberwolves today I doubt that they have any intention of losing him. Right now I feel like the player to target on that roster would be Nikola Pekovic.

Would it solve our defensive deficiencies? No, although some have said that Pek's strength can make him an absolute monster to deal with on either side of the ball, but what it would give is a legitimate post presence who could feed off the spacing that Sully's 3 point stroke creates.

Maybe we could center the deal around Oly and try to sell Minnesota on the Canadian Chemistry being formed Between Wiggins, Bennett and Olynyk.

Another Aussie POV here (so take it with a grain of salt as I don't get to see as much of these guys as many others), but from what I've seen, I like Dieng. When he gets the opportunities, he seems to deliver and in the absence of Pekovic is starting atm. Seems to be a pretty strong rebounder, finds his way to the FT line often and has good length.
