If you didn't see the game tonight, Deadspin has video of the injury.
"The worst thing that ever happened in sports was sports radio, and the internet is sports radio on steroids with lower IQs.” -- Brian Burke, former Toronto Maple Leafs senior adviser, at the 2013 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference

Kyle Draper just said that initial x-rays were negative. Heading for an MRI and another x-ray at the hospital.

On the bright side, this should placate those of us that wanted to draft Randle, right?

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
It was his jumping foot as well.
Ankles are generally much better than knees to injure though I guess right?

Do we want bone or ligament in this one
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.

Depends on the extent on the ligament injury. A ligament tear is generally worse than a bone fracture. Bones usually heal faster and supposedly stronger than before.

That was correct, he is right handed, the injury is to the left ankle / foot.  eh not good no matter what.  so much for our 3 headed def guard monster lineup for a while...ugg
