that was a very good read - some sections of the article sent chills down my spine. I know a lot of people in professional sports went through a lot growing up, but in recent Celtics memory, Smart definitely comes up to mind immediately.
He went through so much from childhood -> teenage years -> professionally.
It's like he almost cannot catch a break, his anger and troubles all stem from losing his father figure in his brother at a very young age and seeing different family members around him all pass away.
So excited to have Smart in the Celtics and cannot wait to see him play
