Leon Powe was a very good role player for us.  The problem was that injuries derailed his career with the Celtics.

Powell has a much better jumpshot than Powe ever did.  Powe's specialty was attacking the rim and getting the score and he also chipped in with rebounding.

Powell looks more like a stretch and pop player who will use his athleticism to get to the rim when the defense is playing badly.  And a lot of his 'highlight' dunks are either against bad defense or much shorter defenders.

Regardless I hope he makes the cut and contributes positively to the team.

I feel like Bass, Thornton, Anthony are the next to go.  I only wish we could move them and picks for a Hibbert or maybe a Sanders type.
I hope we can move them for 1 player(also expiring) or Sanders...but it may take more than that like a pick. If we could do a 3 for 1 that would real help us
