we got  a rangy strong agile center that can run the court and that has a decent mid range jumper he will make opposing centers work-should open inside for green--he looks like a durable kind of athlete---look for green to have much better season if rondo healthy and zeller  and ko stretching the court, a couple of 7footers who like to run and some tough perimeter defenders-all this should help green---i would love to watch pick up games with the rondo /smart duel --

Zeller is better than people think.

Zeller looks good, never got consistent minutes. Offense could be great playing him and Olynyk together but the idea of that Defense makes me cringe a little. Does Zeller start? I don't see us getting a better center before the start of the season.

Trouble is Green worked on his all around game, he should have worked on his handles all summer.  This would have helped him more than Zeller .

The problem with Zeller is that he doesn't fill a need.  They need a rim protector and he isn't that.  He might be very effective on offense but if they want that they could just play Kelly there.

Celtics need a rim protector not a great shot blocker.  Our exterior defenders are:
rondo, bradley, smart, green and wallace
Who is the weakest defender out of that bunch?  that is a group of 5 very good defenders that will be harassing opponents.  Funnel a guy into the paint and you don't need bill russell there but someone with height, length and feet that move faster than perk.
