Bennet and/or Shabazz?

If the Celts send there Bogans+CJ+Babb, Minny could save 7M. This could work as a Bizarre Love Triangle, where Boston also would send the Cavs' 2016 pick Minny's way, or as a separate trade, Bennett for Bogans  or CJ+Babb for Shabazz also work.

The only problem would be roster space. I'd trade Bass+Joel for Perk and OKC 2015 first rounder and would trade Pressey for a protected second (with Smart and Turner as PG/PF options there will be little time for Lil' Phil), rounding the roster to 15, with Shabazz and Young getting time with the Rock Lobsters.

That Cavs pick would be worth it, Bennett and Shabazz are both talented (albeit troubled) kids. That would be a great offseason for DA.

Was that pun intentional?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'd try to pry Shabazz. I will not give up on that kid just yet. I think he's skilled enough to make it to the NBA as at best, a starting quality G/F.

I'd trade Green for him in an instant. Shabbazz's mentality is already ahead than Green's IMO. He rebounds, or at least tries. Seems like he plays hard and coming in, he's scouted as a good competitor.

Just a glimpse of what he can do.

I would love to see Corey Brewer in green.

Why?

He's a winner.  2x NCAA champion.  NBA champ with Dallas.  Solid defender.  Still pretty young.  Reasonable contract.  Why not?

I can sum it up in one stat.  Total rebounds per 36 minutes last season:  Jeff Green (who, by the way, is slightly younger than Brewer) - 4.9, Corey Brewer 2.9.

And you're really valuing playing 23 minutes over 6 playoff games for a team that was NBA champs?  Then Danny AInge should figure out where two-time NBA champ DJ Mbenga is to fill the team's need for a rim protector.

I just like Lavine. But if Sanders wants to marry him then it would not be worth it bc we would have to give up to much. In the case they keep Love then I would not mind sending Green there so he can play the 3. But if Wiggins does go to Minny, our chances at getting Lavine go down imo.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
I do not think DA will get something from them via trade.   It is obvious Flip does not like us or DA.

Unless Sanders truly thinks he is getting a steal. Sander I am sure will trade veterans in Febuary.
I know DA will try to move Green Wallace Bass then hopefully one of them will be gone with Bogans before the season starts

No one Flip and the owner are scared to deal with Danny after the KG deal.
