Posted this on another discussion but i just want someone to point some flaws on it.

Boston receives: Hibbert
Indy Receives: Jeff Green, a big of their choice, bogans' exp contract, and a late 1st-rounder .

Indy remains a playoff team this year and potentially has a Green&George rotation playing 2/3/4 for the 2015-16 season, while having some young guns for the future.
Boston gets the rim protecter they've been desperately needing.

espn trade machine is pretty much okay with any young big that Indy chooses.

Not seeing it happening.  I know they are low on Hibbert but JG for Hibbert is almost laugh worthy.   I do not think he or another big could net him even with Bogans or a pick.

considering that right now, their only player left that's expected to guard Lebron and Melo is Chris Copeland, I would think indiana is more desperate.  Not to mention that when PG24 comes back, they have 2 athletic wings guarding the perimeter.
I think if anything, the celtics take more risk in this deal

They can just treat this as a lost season, refuse to give up any assets for short-term wing fixes, and hope they get a good draft pick that puts them in solid position beginning in 2015-2016.  There are people who think that the Pacers won't even use the disabled player exception so they can avoid paying luxury tax.

I think you've forgotten about Solomon Hill.  Now, I don't know anything about him, but with George out ans Stephenson gone, they might as well use this year to develop him, to see if he's any good.  Who knows, this could be like the Granger injury situation all over again for the Pacers.  With PG out, let's see what Hill can do.

But how long can they afford not to be in the playoffs with David West's growing age? At least if they get one of our young bigs, they can develop him while having PG and JG  as centerpieces
