Why is it that the games the Celtics play in Orlando only play five games and it's over yet in the Las Vegas Games they play a much longer tournament where teams get some real time in???

I think the C's played in both Orlando and Las Vegas last year.  I don't know why they wouldn't opt to play in as many games as possible. it would seem to me it's more beneficial to play in real games. give me some input please.

I wondered the same today.

The Las Vegas SL is so much more competitive. More games are played, more exciting format.

I guess there are some contracts signed with Orlando SL organization, so that is why we played there. Why not at LV SL, I don't know.

Lots of established players are there as well. I see Mason Plumlee, Derrick Williams, etc... We could have had our whole bench unit there.

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

No, they didn't. In fact, I don't recall the last time they played in Vegas, but they definitely haven't the last 3 summers.

We played in LV in 2012 with Sully and Kris Joseph leading the way.

Thanks Krumeto, I knew I remembered an article that read the C's had opted to play in both tournaments that year because I watched it.

The camera view is much better in Vegas. Orlando looks like me with a tripod.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
