Under no circumstances do I want us to go after him.

We need to try to add a defensive center like Udoh or a healthy Okafor

With Ed Davis and Jason Smith signing with LAL and NYK respectively, i agree, Udoh and Okafor should be our target. If Davis was that cheap then either one should be really cheap.

Okafor and Oden.  Come on, say it with me ;)

Evan Turner on the cheap is a great move. Former #2 pick? Sign me up. Low risk, high reward is my favorite.

Yes, judas priest, why is this even a question.  Scoring like Stephenson go out the door, guys like Asik goes for a bag of peanuts, etc, and we sit around on our thumbs with a grin on our face as we get ready for anther d league season.  For petes sake give him a shot.  We dont know what we're gonna get wiff Jeff green.

If Ainge really trusts Stevens to get the best out of Evan Turner, why not? sign him up on the cheap as a reclamation project. I mean he was averaging 17ppg last year before being traded.

Look at all we heard about Jordan Crawford? but Stevens was able to harness his potential and turn him into a valuable contributer

Rondo/smart
Bradley/Thorton/smart
Green/Turner/wallace
Sullinger/Olynyk
Zeller/faverani

actually doesnt look like That bad of a team. and if some of these guys play well Ainge has more assets to throw in a trade down the road.

I would prefer a sign and trade.  Maybe trade Thornton for Turner (give Turner 1 year 8 million with a team option on the 2nd year or something like that).

If the Thornton for Turner works I would then explore a trade of Green to Cleveland for Bennett and Delladova (heck I might do that anyway).  I think Cleveland might be interested in that as Green is right now what Cleveland hopes Bennett will be in a couple of seasons.  Green could play SG, SF, or PF for Cleveland so he the versatility there.  Boston gets another highly talented young player in the rebuild.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Wouldn't hurt..i would send James Young to Maine to let him develop instead sitting on the bench
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Why would you S&T Turner for 8m when you can just give him the 4.5m trade exception or use our 4.3m TPE from the Hump deal?

Problem is we know exactly what were gonna get from Jeff Green. Inconsistency
