Hey guys. Here is a list, Hump return not included, of our upcoming draft assets:
http://www.prosportstransactions.com/basketball/DraftTrades/Future/Celtics.htmFirst Rounders, '15-'18
2015: Ours, Clips
2016: Ours, Nets, Cavs
2017: Preference of ours or Nets
2018: Ours, Nets
Here is a solid list of the 2015 draft class (heavy in 5's & 3's, thankfully, but also good 2's & 4's) :
http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2015/2 SF from #5-8; 4 SF in lottery. 2-3 C in top 4, W. Caulie Stein at 9; 5 from #16-19 & #29-30.
We'll have low & high firsts, Clips & our own. In 2016, we'll have ours, the Nets & the Cavs.
Here is a 2016 mock that's out too early from an obscure source to be trusted, but it has info:
http://www.nbadraftroom.com/p/2016-nba-mock-draft.htmlWith our 3 first, maybe a high, middle and low, this is our player pool.
We know strong GMs think several draft classes ahead, so looking at our assets and the strengths of these drafts, can any smart deductions or educated guesses about the specific direction of this team over time be made? One deduction from me: time to watch college again.
Haven't been a regular poster since the glory days of Mark Blount except during difficult offseasons here and there. I still read the boards to learn, laugh and disagree. Thanks for providing a great Celtics experience for so many years.
