I think it really depends on whether or not Cleveland's front office can sell LeBron on being competent this time around. At least as far as basketball stuff goes.
As far as business stuff goes, I'm sure he'll make money regardless of where he winds up.
I think Cleveland was always trying to be competitive, just not overly aggressive and trying to grab smaller impact players vs bigger impact players to build around James
I mean, pre-Miami (starting in 06 btw)
Cleveland made, 1 NBA finals appearance, and 1 Conference Finals, and 2 2nd round exits (eliminated by us, but it was a game 7 and a game 6 hard fought match).
They weren't a shabby team
