Clippers want Paul Pierce, talking with Nets

so, basically Ainge got 4 first round picks from the Nets for a 1 year rental of Pierce and a cooked KG.

IF pierce leaves and KG retires those picks just got ALOT more valuable.

We (including DA) knew this would come to pass. That's why he did the deal.

I know KG looked cooked but if PP is leaving I'd certainly call NJ to see what they want for KG. We can use a defensive center for 20-24 minutes per.

That's a great idea, KG coming back "home", and in no other scenario short of KG retiring or KG getting moved to the Clips with PP, do I see PP leaving KG after PP talked KG into the Nets deal...no way....their bond is too strong.

its a horrible idea. Kg is cooked and getting paid 12 mill. Waste of roster spot, cap space, and everything.

I'm sure the Nets would buy him out and he can come here for short $$$$....or maybe they take Wallace back? ....haha

I still maintain though that PP doesn't leave NETS.....unless Kg comes with Pp to Clips after being bought out... The $$$ doesn't mean much at this point to KG.....OR KG retires or KG gets bought out and ends his career here.

But instead we get a pony who is forced to play the Center position, a guy who didn't even suit up for half the season, receiving a guy with one of the most cancerous contracts in the league and eventually went down with a torn meniscus, and three first rounders. Huh.

The picks could be nice, but man Jordan and Bledsoe would've been fabulous to have.

Yeah, DA was banking on a two year window and those picks, at least the 2016 could be pretty good. Heck, even this years was better than we thought it was going to be.

Personally I think they would be worse shape for the future though.

kg averages 10 re-bounds and lets say 12 points or 15 points in just 16minutes a game, (question) what if 25minutes a game?
is it kidd's fault? or because kg was playing PF? seeing a great coach i'm certain kg stays

pierce called kg to the nets, who almost retired last year, then now pierce goes to clippers?
clippers started the talked not the nets, but as a nets GM 1st pick and reddick is a good deal but....you have to think that the chemistry might break down, and if pierce leaves the nets, make sure ak47 is healthy and anderson is back, or else they are done....

the nets bench are still better than the heat bench, but if melo and lebron went west? i say ECF for the nets, there's a possibility
