He's got a good set of skills and won't be too expensive. My guess is that he's not on the top of the list because of the knucklehead issues but we could do far worse. I kinda like the size and offensive skills he brings. Good on ya

First of all, welcome! :)  TP for being from Australia, I have family there, but I've never made it down under, unfortunately.  As for Blatche, yes, I agree that he does have a ton of talent, but he's not a good defender, and we really need that.  Brooklyn seemed like a good fit, but given his recent tweet I don't expect him to return.  Maybe there should be an all-knucklehead team, with Javale McGee at the 4 and 5, respectively ;D  He just doesn't seem to fit a rebuilding type of situation, imo.

On another front, have you ever seen a commercial for Outback Steakhouse?  It's an American restaurant based entirely on Australia, and my relatives find them understandably hilarious.  Here's one -

You don't want a knucklehead veteran on a young team.

I fear that's the problem with Sanders too.  I'd be happy if they could find a way to get Biyombo. I think he'd fill out their young center group nicely.

I agree with you.  I still think Biyombo hasn't been exposed to good coaching and that he could be molded into a pretty good player.

He will be playing for the Philippines Team this coming Fiba championship in Spain, offensively he is reliable but his main problem is on defense which is the main concern of the Celtics...

No.  A report (heard on local DC sports radio) that at one point last year, the Nets just sent him away from team with a fake excuse to the media.

No, and my reason is just basketball.

We have two forwards like him, we need someone who can protect the rim, and that's not him. We'd be better off just playing KO and Sully than acquiring Blatche.

Blatche could be interesting for OKC. A skilled backup center. Can play next to a top defensive PF in Ibaka so OKC can keep balanced lineups on the floor. I think Blatche and Collison would have a nice ying and yang feel to them off the bench. Both PF/C. One offensive. One defensive.
