That's complete nonsense and how rumors get started.  Those of us in the know are well aware James was injured from driving 120 while steering with his knees so he could keep his fighting pit bulls from spilling his cocaine all over his unlicensed assault rifles.

you don't want anyone to get into a car accident but if it was not for the accident , Young got to workout for teams, i doubt he would of been available at 17. I think teams just kind of forgot about him more than anything

Since rewatching some games (start to finish) and clips like above, he is a better passer than i thought. He is not a creative passer but makes the right passes most of the time.  1st half of the year he looked lost but in the 2nd half and in the tourney he played great.  If he stayed another year he would of gone in the top 10 for the next years draft imo.

I can see why now Simmons was so excited the Celts picked young at 17.
